EBE (Everybody Eats) is operated by Desmond Long. This policy covers the EBE website and the EBE mobile app. Last updated 13 August 2026.
What we collect and why

We do not collect anything that is not on this list, and we do not build advertising profiles from any of it.
Location
The app asks for your location so it can show cooks near you and route deliveries. You can refuse, and the app still works: you type an address instead. Drivers share their location while a delivery is in progress so the customer and the cook can see where the order is. That sharing stops when the delivery is completed.
Who your information goes to
We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with anyone for advertising. It goes only to the people and services needed to complete what you asked for:
- The cook and the driver on your order get your name, your phone number and your delivery address, so the food reaches you. They do not get your email address or your payment details.
- Stripe processes payments. Card details go directly to Stripe and are never stored by EBE.
- Supabase hosts the database and file storage behind the app.
- Twilio sends order and delivery text messages.
We also hand over information if the law requires it.
How it is protected
All data sent between the app and our servers is encrypted in transit over HTTPS. Access to the database is restricted to the accounts that run the service.
How long it is kept
Your account information is kept for as long as your account exists. Order and payment records are kept for 7 years after the order, because tax and accounting law requires it. Nothing is deleted on an automatic timer while your account is open.
Your choices
- Change your name, phone number or address at any time from your account.
- Cooks can delete a dish, a photo or a video from the cook dashboard at any time.
- Ask for a copy of your information by emailing us.
- Delete your account and your data. The steps and the full list of what is removed and what is kept are on the delete your account page.
Children
EBE is for adults. It is not directed at children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has created an account, email us and we will remove it.
Changes
If this policy changes, the updated date at the top changes with it. Significant changes are announced in the app.
